Thoughts About Love
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
We know this passage from Paul’s letter to the Corinthians. It represents love’s worldly attributes. This is love as it exists in separation, tainted by fear. Pure love does not have such attributes; it cannot be described. It is the nature of consciousness. It is that which I AM. Fear drives our relationships in this world of separation. A passage like Paul’s reminds us that we do not always love, and when we do love we do not love fully.
We can know pure love by being in the moment. Love in the moment is not filtered through the past with its collection of fears. To enter the room within, the past is left at the door. Unfiltered love is the love that I AM. To know twia is to know pure love. Love in the world is limited by fear, mostly the fear of losing it, or worse, not having it. We want love, even love tainted by fear. This is the love of the world. The love that you are, the love that is twia, is pure. You can feel it in the moment. It does not require others. It is what you are. It has no end. Give love freely to all you meet, without shades of the past, and you will know your true nature.
Love shared with all is done without fear of loss. Love shared with a few is tainted by its attachments. To cling to a lover, a child, or a friend is to put love in a bind. Then it is limited by fear of loss. This is the tainted love of the world. It is separation, the picking out of a few to cherish while ignoring the whole. Pure love is complete and whole. It is oneness. To live in the moment is to extend love to all. This is the way of the path. You cannot remember twia without letting go of fear. When fear ebbs, love flows in.
To not love all is to treat yourself as unworthy of pure love. Twia is the love that is all. This is oneness. Love is not in the world. The world is separation, and separation is fear. Fear is not love. They are opposites. You are love. Bring twia into the world and fear is removed. Then the world reveals its oneness.
Our existence is illusion. An illusion of separation from oneness, which cannot be. Existence is not real, but it lies in reality like a dream in consciousness. To awake is to leave the dream and return to reality.
Love extends. Extend yourself to all. Do not separate yourself into fragments of love to be shared here and not there. This is illusion. You are twia. You are real. Be the love you are for all, everywhere the same.
Love is found in the moment. It is what we are. It is our true nature. Twia holds our true nature in the room within. The way of the path is to remember twia. To know twia is to know pure love. The room within is empty of the past and it holds no future. It is eternal. Pure love is eternal.
The me of the body does not know love. It only knows fear. To know love, release the world and enter the room within. This is your salvation from suffering.
Separation brings about oneness. Without the thought of separation, oneness does not exist. Without separation, consciousness just is. In separation there are those I love and those I do not love. I may not hate them, but they are not the same to me as my loved ones. Then there is love that is here today and gone tomorrow. Passion leads to relationships that fall apart when it wears thin. What kind of love is this that is selective and capricious? It is love tainted by fear. To know twia is to let go of fear. In letting go of fear, pure love fills the room within. This is love for a world of oneness.
