Find freedom within
Die to the world. Abandon its attachments. Find solitude in the room-within. Be witness to your thoughts and emotions. Do not react to their ways. Find freedom in the darkness. Herein, the bonds of slavery to the me of the body are released. Desire is no longer your master. Expectation is no longer the whip. Entanglements are undone. Shackles are released to set you free. You are no longer condemned to a world of pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow. Its ways cease to control you. You no longer clutch at the wind or gaze glassy eyed toward tomorrow. Bring your focus inward. Let solitude embrace you. In letting go, you find comfort in true joy. Joy is your natural way. To sit in the still, silent darkness of solitude is to remember joy as your true nature. Knowing joy sets you free.
