Ruminating with Rumi
The world has nothing for you. You give it all that it has. You live in a world of your own making. Become empty of thought. Your true nature will bring you joy.
Do not say. Do nothing. The me of the body is ignorant. It does not know. You are its meaning. You bring it joy. When you fall, you find that you have wings. Wings of joy that catch the rising air. Circle in the heavens. Reveal your song with open throated joy. Joy will be told. Do not be distracted by love. Love in the world is tainted by fear. To love without fear is to live in joy. Live in unity with all without attachment and you will know joy.
You know this within. Stay away from places that blur your clarity. You may think you know, with your senses and all that you exhibit as the me of the body, but you do not. You are ignorant. You have no way of knowing but you venture forth just the same. You are drawn by joy within. Feel it. Do not think it. Let it grow in you.
The last strands of evening fade into moonlight. Stars hang thick in the heavens, circling through the zodiac. Lovers stare in awe at the marvel, at each other, at all that surrounds them with the wonder of existence. Do you remember when you were there? When your candle still burned at dawn. The light of dawn is a new day in which to ready yourself. The day will be as you see it. Find clarity to enter the room within and know joy.
