Hanging with Hafiz
Joy awakens you to your own reality, a reality without fear. It has no attachments to worldly ways. Let go of your toy box. Put everything back and close the lid. You cannot find joy in worldly things. The ways of the world are a distraction from your true nature. Joy tires of your shenanigans. Your fears breed evilness and conflict. You spend more time weeping in sorrow than in joyously loving your neighbor. Is it going to take a good shaking to wake you up?
Love and fear are opposites in our world of separation. Fear without love brings about cruelty, depravity, etc. Most of us live with a healthy balance of love and fear. Our fears produces evilness. Our love produces goodness. Most of us have a socially acceptable balance of anger and compassion. Some might lean more toward compassion, kindness, etc. Some may lean more toward anger, revenge, etc.
How does fear breed evilness? What is evil?
