Ruminating with Rumi
To whom am I praying when my heart cries out in darkness for mercy? No one. There is nothing there but an emptiness that is nowhere. That is the joy in knowing. To know that your existence is illusion. To remember your own presence as reality. That reality is I AM. There is no other. You are the one. Do not desire. Do not expect. Be without judgment and hope. This is the way of the path. Count on your true nature to know the course to follow. You are the flowing of the river to the sea. Put away fears. They belong to the me of the body. Find strength in your own wisdom and joy. You are that which I AM. There is no other.
You have knowledge beyond the body and its sufferings and delights. You know within the way of the path. Remember twia. Let twia be your guide. Twia knows. Knowledge is like the emptiness of air. What appears to be nothing is everything. It is confusing that emptiness holds all, and that every breath changes you. Nothing is as it seems, which leaves the me of the body fearful. The eyes and ears of the body are blind and deaf to reality. Go to the light within. It gives you eyes that see and ears that hear. Set the intellect aside. Let it gather dust in the hallway. The mind works in spacetime. Twia touches the eternal. Twia is the light within to guide you through darkness. All that is known to you is but a drop in the sea. One drop is this, another is that. You separate where there is none. Twia is the leaven within that expands knowledge beyond the body. To know is to live in peace of heart always.
