Remembering (#206)
Reflections while wandering the way of the path:
Consciousness is the state of potential in which all things lie. It is emptiness that is nowhere. The emptiness that is nowhere stands poised in potential, ready for every thought of consciousness to manifest. The potential of the emptiness is totality. This is reality – eternal and unchanging.
The me of the body knows almost nil of reality. We are limited in body by our vision of separation. We see objects in spacetime as a universe of separate things governed by unseen forces. As cosmic as the universe is, it is but a blip in eternal emptiness. Our bodies are even less; practically zero, since they are made of unseen subatomic particles that pop in and out of existence. We are nano-specks in the totality of it all. Our bodies are but dust on the cosmic shelving where all objects of separation reside.
But we are not our bodies. We are not transitory dust. We are twia. But twia is best not talked about. Words cover I AM in the dust of separation. Twia is best known in silence. Otherwise it is separation instead of its true oneness. To speak of twia identifies it as not something else, but there is no something else. Separation is illusion. Step away from words and thoughts to know the oneness that is twia. You can never comprehend your truth, so why try. Let it come to you in the silence of the room within.
Hold to twia. Let peace of heart prevail. The Tao offers lessons in this that affect mind, body, vision, loving kindness, and functioning. To the mind it says, stop wandering. Stay true to the oneness that is twia. To the body it says, breathe softly without anxiety. Stay supple without stiffness and tension to live longer. The Tao says to keep the dust from your reflection so the light can shine through you. The dust of the world can cloud your thinking so that love is lost to you. Cleanse your vision of its dust so love can shine through you. It shines best when you do nothing. To do nothing is to step away from your own advice on how to live. Twia knows the way, so do not obstruct it with your desires and limitations as the me of the body. To step away is to function in the Tao. You cannot know the Tao, or consciousness, but twia does. Enter the room within and do nothing. Cleanse the room of your ways by forgiving the past, then sit still in the silence that is twia letting it guide you along the way of the path.
Stop talking. Stop reading these words. Remember twia in the still silence of the empty room within, that is really within nothing since it is nowhere. The emptiness that is nowhere is your gift. Dwell there to know reality, which is consciousness, a state of potential in which all things lie. Then you can act without words. Let go, act, let go. Twia knows the way. Twia is not a separate something to use apart from yourself. Twia is the I AM. I AM that which I am. Hear this truth and live it.
In this spirit, I give birth to ideas without owning them – they are not mine. I write without expectation of outcome – the words are flailing attempts to share the mystery. I release all to the way that is twia. In this, I am at peace.
