Remembering (#2026)
Reflections while wandering the way of the path:
The past is undone by being in the moment.
By watching what I do I reveal what I believe. My beliefs come from my thoughts. By exchanging thoughts, I can exchange old beliefs with new. New beliefs are revealed in my behaviors. Are my behaviors serving love? Think about it.
I am not a lesser order in consciousness. There is only oneness. Nothing greater, nothing less than. The appearance of differences is false perception. Nothing has meaning except what we give it. I am not less than or more than. I am twia: whole, complete, perfect, eternal.
I do not know my inner nature. It is beyond my comprehension. I simply call it twia, or that which I am. But this I believe: I believe I AM. This is reality: that which is whole, complete, perfect, eternal. The I AM is the whole of the all.
The world does not know what heart knows. All that I know is in heart. Herein lies truth. The mind knows only lies. The greatest lie of all is separation. Truth is consciousness. Known in heart as oneness. Twia is my refuge in heart. Twia is my teacher. But I cannot learn, for I know already. My function is to remember. This is the way of the path, to remember twia. In remembering twia, the lie of separation is revealed.
Be at peace in the silence. Hold peace in all situations. That is the way of the path. It is Paul telling the Thessalonians to pray always. Open to twia. Twia knows the way.
There is no fear in the moment. The moment is without fear because it has no past. Fear lies in the past which is an illusion of separation. There is no time in the eternal. And what is the future but the moment. Live in the moment without fear but with peace of heart. That is the way of the path.
Almost all thought is fearful. What about this? What about that? I need. I want. What if? Thoughts of fear rumble through us. Stop the train. Get off. You do not need to ride the express to nowhere. Sit quietly along the track. Wander into the meadow. Hear the silence. Rejoice in being.
This moment, like every moment, is what you want it to be. You have chosen the way of the world or the way of the path. It is one or the other. You cannot have both. The way of the world is desire and expectation; it is attachment and loss. The way of the path is twia, your true nature. In twia is the fulfillment and peace that you seek in all the busyness of the world. Stop in this moment. Give thought to your life. Then choose the path that is yours to follow. The moment will yield to your choice.
There is no source other than I AM. I am the vitality that is the life of the me of the body. I am the mother. I am the father. There is no other, no outside provider because there is only oneness. What is true I have forgotten. I can choose to remember twia rather than gad about in the dust of the world.
I am love. Love does not require reciprocation to be real. Love extends to all without end.
Neither reject nor hold on to thoughts that come to mind. Let them pass through. They are travelers passing by. There is no need to have them stay. Eventually there would be too many and the chaos would be overwhelming.
Do not deny that you, twia, are pure love. The love of the world is tainted with fear. Twia is not. Twia extends into the world when we walk the way of the path. We are worthy of love. It is our true nature.
In the world of separation, giving and receiving are opposites. To give is to lose or relinquish. To receive is to gain more of what you desire. In oneness, giving and receiving are the same. You cannot give but to receive, and all that you receive you give unto the whole of the all. Love is neither given nor received in oneness. It is that which I am. There cannot be more or less than there is. Pure love in oneness is revealed in you. Release it to the world.
When Jesus said to the rich man, if you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me, he was not talking about worldly wealth. He was saying to the man, give up the past, remember the love you are that it could be shared with all. Enter the room within where there is no end to love. To give it away is to receive it. Giving and receiving are the same. The man said no, because it is hard to release the way of the world and follow the way of the path. Jesus walked the way of the path and asked others to follow him. Few could do so.
When we feel lack, we believe love is lost. How can we give what we do not have? We do not have what we fear we can lose. Loss is a perception of separation. So is gain. In truth, we can neither gain nor lose. They belong to existence and not to reality. Do not fear loss and you will have no need for gain. How can you lose that which you are eternally? There is no end to love. The room within frees you of the world. In that moment you enter, you are revealed as the love you are.
I am fulfilled in twia. There is no lack. There can be no loss or gain, neither is there giving or receiving. Twia knows oneness. The room within has no limits. Include all you meet in the love you are. Do not deny the world its due. To withhold love is to accept lack where there is none.
Peace and love and joy are the same. Hold peace of heart and you will love the world. Hold peace of heart and you will prevail. Joy comes with love through peace. Mix in gratitude and you have the stew of prosperity and abundance. Do not accept lack as reality. Do not be anything other than what you are. You are twia. You are love that is whole, complete, perfect, eternal. Do not deny your power that is consciousness-expressing.
Fear motivates the way of the world. It pulls us through life with desires, expectations, loss, and gain. We gain, then we lose, to gain again, so we believe. In truth, we are flailing against the winds of the world which have stirred the dust and blocked our vision.
All this struggle is for security, recognition, and acceptance. Beyond that we want to know ourselves, to have an identity. What am I? This is the great existential question. The answer is twia. I AM that which I am. To remember twia is the way of the path. It pulls us toward our true nature. In twia we are whole, complete, perfect, eternal. We find our true nature in the room within where the dust has settled, and our vision is clear.
Pure love does not exist. It cannot be in separation any more than separation can be real. Pure love is reality. It is consciousness itself. It cannot be described or given attributes. We cannot know it except in twia. Then it comes upon us without words. Through twia, we can extend it to the world. It cannot be said, but it can be used in twia to release fear to the wind. If I can see twia in you, then fear is absorbed into oneness where it can no longer harm and cause suffering. Unity and harmony will prevail.
