Remembering (#2017)
Reflections while wandering the way of the path: We are abundant by nature. That is our truth in twia. Thoughts of separation bring about desire. Desires bring about thoughts of lack. We look to things outside to find fulfillment. To want something apart from what is within is not the abundance of oneness. It is desire arising in separation from fear of not having enough. As thoughts of lack arise in separation, we cling to what we have and strive to attain more. Attachment and desire are tools used by the me of the body to allay fears of lack. The me of the body sees only separation. It grows in fear. Lack becomes its enemy. It fights to have enough, but there is never enough. It takes from others because it knows not oneness. In fear it strives to dominate. It cannot let go. Accumulation knows no end. In this it destroys itself. Its greatest fear is lack of life and the loneliness of death’s void. Yet this is what it rushes toward unknowingly in its pursuit of worldly fulfillment. Twia does not know lack. Twia is whole, complete, perfect, eternal. Twia offers comfort to the me of the body like that of a mother’s embrace. The me of the body can rest in the mother without fear. The mother’s love dissolves fear, leaving peace of heart. Hold peace of heart in all situations. This is the way of the path. True fulfillment in twia is yours now. Accept the comfort that is yours already.

The universe is expression of consciousness. It springs from the thought in consciousness of separation. Its existence is a manifestation of what cannot be. There is only oneness. Relax into twia, which in turn is embraced by consciousness. There is a nesting of consciousness, much like Russian nesting dolls, that allows consciousness to express with different intensities. The denser the form, the less awareness of consciousness, but it is present, even in a rock. Consciousness lives in all things. It is the whole of the all. There is no beginning. Only consciousness. Neither is there end. Consciousness is eternal. Beginnings and endings are but appearances in separation. To know this is to not suffer in sorrow. Leave judgment and desire at the threshold of the room within. They are clutter. The eyes of the body see only darkness. The eyes of twia pierce the darkness with light from within. The light from within floods the world through the open door. You knocked and the door opened to the light you no longer can hide. No longer do judgment and desire block the light that you are. When I put me ahead of others, then others are less than. We are one. Receive all with grace. Then oneness is realized. Center yourself in the whole of the all. Better yourself by being last. Jesus said, the last shall be first. There is not first and last in oneness. To be centered is to hold peace of heart for all. Peace of heart is the way to oneness. Accept what is. Live the moment. Dwell in harmony. Do this by keeping peace of heart and remembering twia. This is the way of the path.

Death is a continuing state of awareness. The body is exactly what physicists say it is: a bundle of subatomic particles that displays consciousness and will. But I am not my body. I AM that which I am, which is eternal. The essential genetic core of the body is shaped as me by the cultural forces into which the me of the body is born and raised. To be oneself is a lie. We are the product of the situation into which the body is born. Even when we rebel against the situation to be our self, we are expressing the situation. It is a lie to think the me of the body is any more than its situation. What you think of this situation makes a difference in how you live it. You do have the power to change your world. Not from without by rebellion, but from within by your thoughts. Your thoughts have influence on your perceptions, actions, and beliefs about the world and your situation in it. Your world is a product of your thoughts. Change your thoughts, change the world. Be aware and you will know twia in death as in life. In truth there is neither, only the eternal.
