Remembering (#2013)
Reflections while wandering the way of the path:
The me of the body can feel alone. Loneliness and isolation often intrude in the lives of many people. We are manifestations of separation. We see others as separate and apart even though in reality there is only oneness. We are never alone in truth. Twia is oneness. It does not know the sufferings of loneliness. Twia is one thing, which is oneness. The way of the path is to remember oneness when all seems separate.
To remember oneness is to recognize that we seem incomplete in separation. To remember is to clasp the unity of the whole. Clasp the unity of the whole to be in unison with oneness. To have more of what we desire adds to our separation. To have less brings us closer to oneness. To have is to attach our self-importance to worldly gains to be fulfilled. To have without attachment is to have less. With less we are closer to oneness.
To be whole, let go. You are not the me of the body. Forget the ways of accumulation and attachment. The more you have, the less you have. To have nothing is to have it all. Without desire and expectations, you can live in oneness and not feel alone.
The more I attach to this world, the farther I am from twia. To walk the way of the path, I release attachment to all. The less I am in the world, the more I am twia in the body instead of me. Me is my perception of self. Twia is my reality.
Bring yin and yang into oneness by releasing worldly attachments. Live in the world. Enjoy its bounty. But know oneness. Without oneness you feel incomplete no matter how much you accumulate. Twia is the path. The way is to remember. The way of the path leads to the room within. Drop your baggage at the door and the door will open. Find unity in duality. Unite yin and yang.
In this world of separation, we see two ends. The Tao says that when we name beauty, ugly follows. How can we know whole without experiencing partial? Jesus said, to be born again you must first die. The wisdom of Lao Tzu and Jesus points to knowing oneness through separation. In consciousness there is no oneness. There is only oneness because we know separation. See both ends on the rim of the wheel. Then beauty and ugly, whole and partial, birth and death, are viewed as one through twia. Twia is the hub of the wheel. View the rim from the hub. There is unity in the circle.
Jesus said to the rich man: Go, sell everything, then you will enter God’s kingdom. To gain oneness, we must give up separation. Yet, it is through separation that we come to know oneness. To gain oneness, stop striving. Desire is an aspect of separation. Release yourself to twia. Let oneness come to you. Let twia guide you on the way of the path. The me of the body strives in separation to fulfill itself, but it never can because it is all illusion. You are fulfilled now. I AM that which I am: whole, complete, perfect, eternal. Stop hoping! Stop wanting! Drop your desires. Do nothing. Stay in the moment with peace of heart to let oneness embrace you. There is nothing to want when embraced by twia. We are it. The room within is our reality.
Where is the line between beauty and ugly? Tradition says in the eye of the beholder. Where is the line between oneness and separation? Truth says there is none. All is one. What we view as separation is illusion. Separation never lasts. Oneness never lasts. Oneness is known through thoughts of separation. There is no line that is real because separation is transitory. Oneness is total harmony with twia in the face of separation. Then we know separation as oneness. There cannot be you and something else except in your own perception. Listen to what cannot be said to know the truth.
Consciousness is eternal. In consciousness, there is no difference between oneness and separation. They are the same. The me of the body gives them differences as it does for all things. It is the source of meaning where there is none. Observe what is and leave it at that. Act on what arises. Then let it be. Always hold peace of heart in the moment. No attachments. Things come and go. Let it be. Remove thoughts of: to what end can I use this to further my agenda. How? By having no agenda outside the moment of letting be.
Labels fail where thoughts want to go. I want to tell you about oneness, but I cannot. There are no words. I see only separation. I am lost in separation with eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear.
Truth cannot be said, only known. The me of the body cannot know. Twia knows. I am twia in truth. The way of the path is to be open to remembering twia. Let go of the past. Stop desiring the future. Trust in twia each moment. Twia has eyes that see and ears that hear. Remember twia to know oneness.
