Hanging with Hafiz
Be the joy that you are in the world. Dance joyfully in the moment. You are the dancing that is the dance. Come, dance now. This is your constant invitation. No one is denied. Lean into the music. Forget your feet and the steps they take. Set them free. Go where they lead you. Let them be like birds fleeing the cage. Let them carry you upward. Escape the past. Find no fault with the future. You are no longer restrained. Keep going. Do not stop now. The path leads you up the mountainside. Say nothing. Do nothing. Sit in the silence of nature’s cathedral. The whole of the all is dancing on the altar of consciousness. Let the earth be the nave, the heavens the apse. Put the altar between them in reverence to all. But do not kneel and worship. Press your lips to the wounds of the world. You are the cure. You are the energy that moves the whole of the all. You are consciousness-expressing. You are the one. There is no other.
