Live simply. The peaceful presence of simplicity empties heart and mind to receive joy. Joy is a sense of quietude that is not of the world. It has no distinctions on which to hang this and that. It is like the still, deep water of a crystal blue lake. Cry into its depths. Crack open your heart. Give joy an opening. Joy awaits under the deepest agony. It seeks a crack through which it can greet you as you reach the bottom. It is a glowing ember awaiting the fresh breeze of surrender as you break open. Give in to grief. Release desire. Worldly ways cannot save you. Shed the rush of emotion that courses through you. Let it slip to the ground and slither away. Allow the ember within to catch fire in the breeze. You are joy. Pour forth through the cracks of a broken heart. Release your true nature. It is your true nature that brings peace of heart to all situations. Living simply with an open-heart awakens your true nature. Joy is your path through the world. Follow joy always.
