Ruminating with Rumi
Open yourself. Sweep your heart clean. Leave it bare to receive abundance. Your emotions are not you. They are remnants of thought. Nor are you your thoughts. They are what you capture to give meaning and purpose to your existence in form. To observe is to be the witness. Witness your thoughts and emotions without accepting them as your reality. Your reality is joy. Joy is your true nature. To keep yourself open is to know joy. To know joy is to know peace of heart always.
To become joy is to be broken open. Be the lover of your own true nature. Let your heart burst into joy. Do not freeze it in form. Melt down your emotions. Let it hurt as you release the ways of the world. The journey to knowing joy is not a pleasure romp. It is a trek of hardship through desire and heartbreak. You are changing copper into gold. The heat is intense. Do not hold back. You could get by as you are, but why?
