Hanging with Hafiz
You are planted firmly in the ground of goodness, which is consciousness in existence. Remain close to the ground. Do not stray and become lost. Do not rise only to fall. Consciousness is an emptiness that is nowhere in which your roots run deep. Worldly desires cannot pull you lose. You may long for this and that, but desire is soon a foreign land in a world of separation. In life you fear the oblivion that you perceive as death. Rescue comes in knowing loneliness. Being alone brings you close to darkness. In darkness a seed is planted that will break through into the light. Wisdom nurtures the way. In wisdom you turn toward beauty and remember that you are beloved. You had forgotten this and ailed with false perceptions. The ways of the world tricked you into seeing separation where there is none. Your efforts to remember were not for nil. They brought you to the door of the room-within. Desire for worldly ways loosened its grip. You are released to return to your true nature. Enter now. Your seed is potent. It requires no effort to grow in the ground of goodness. So, do nothing. Let consciousness set you free.
