Contemplative meanderings
Consciousness is a word for what cannot be described. The thing it names has no distinctions.
Words that distinguish and describe are signposts. The construct of consciousness points you toward an idea like a signpost sets you off in the right direction. The post is words, not your destination, but it helps you along the way.
To label is to separate. To name consciousness, to describe it, is to separate it into this and that. To give it oneness is to separate. To call it whole is to separate. You cannot know oneness and wholeness without experiencing separation.
Consciousness can be experienced without words. You can know consciousness in the still silence of the room within. Herein you touch the eternal. No words required.
To know the way is to walk without words. Twia knows. To remember twia, enter the silence. You do not know. You live in the din of the world. Your ears are deaf. You are blinded by dust kicked up by ignorance and fear. To clear the way, enter the room within. Herein lies twia. Twia is the way, the truth, the light. In twia you gain clarity and vision.
There are no words that say. To say is to reflect ignorance. Lao Tzu said that those who know do not say and those who say do not know. Jesus advised his followers to go and tell no one. Words are a signpost. Do not take the signpost to be your destination.
Your truth is in the whole of the all. It cannot be told. Truth is known in awareness of twia. You do not know twia. You do not know the way. Twia knows. To know is to be aware of your true nature. Twia leads the way. Follow with ears that hear and eyes that see.
Awareness is not for saying. It reflects heart. Heart centers in the room within. You receive wisdom and knowledge in silence, but you still do not know the way. Twia knows.
The world of separation is strong. What you think you see in others is not real. You take in illusion as the me of the body. You live in a world of impressions. Beyond those impressions lies consciousness. For you to seek consciousness is like wetness looking for water. Wetness does not know water. There is no separation. You are the wetness. You are the expressing that is consciousness. There is no separation between you and consciousness-expressing. You cannot know this in words. You will know in the silence of the room within. Open to twia. Twia knows.
The me of the body is lost in ignorance and fear. It cannot find its way in the billowing dust of the world. You are not this body of ignorance and fear. You are twia. Remember twia. Enter the room within. Be witness to the me of the body without attachment. This is to die to the body and be born anew. To be born anew is to remember that you are I AM. You are not transitory. You are eternal. You are not illusion. You are reality. You are not a reflection of existence. You are the treasure within. You are that which I AM. There is no other.
The me of the body clings to life out of ignorance and fear. It lives in separation. To cling is to lose your way. To attach yourself to the ways of the world is to lose your life. To release yourself to twia, your true nature, is to touch the eternal. Be aware. Live in the moment. Do nothing. Jesus says that the birds of the air neither sow nor reap, the lilies of the field neither toil nor spin. Do not bother with this and that. Release yourself from the desires and expectations of the world.
To release, step back. Observe. To accept desire is to be attached. To contend with desire is to be attached. Whether you accept or contend, you are living in pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow. To release desire, do nothing. To do nothing is to act from twia. To act from twia, find value in the moment, not in judgment and hope. Live in the whole of the all. Do not perceive separation. See with eyes that see. To live in the world is to desire, to hold expectations. You set out to achieve and attain. Instead, do nothing. Let the river find its course naturally. You can move separation’s parts and pieces around all that you want, but you will still die. To live is to release all to twia in the moment. Do not linger in the past with hopes and dreams. Hold the moment in heart. Flow with the water that is your true nature. Find preference in the now. Twia knows the way.
Live in the moment. You are not your memories. Do not contend with the past. Eyes that judge the past and hope for a new future do not see. To see is to live in the moment. To see in the moment is to look into the whole of the all, to see without separation. Perceive all from within. See in the moment without judgment and hope. Act in the moment. Remove yourself from memory. Open your eyes to the whole of the all.
Again, what is real cannot be said. Reality cannot be named or described. It has no distinctions. It is an eternal emptiness that is nowhere, an eternal field of infinite possibility that is intelligent and aware. What you experience in the world is consciousness expressing separation as existence. Remember, descriptions such as this are but words on a signpost.
Words are perceptions of reality. They form descriptions of ideas, concepts, and constructs of reality in your experience as the me of the body. Reality remains a mystery. You do not know. You cannot say. Words are but signposts in the desert of ignorance. To cling to signposts is to dry up and die on the parched sands. Do not cling to the word. Enter the room within. Leave words at the threshold. Bring your awareness into the silence. Be witness to all. The whole of the all is known without words. Observe all without judgment and hope. Remove intellect from your experience. Live from heart with eyes that see.
You do not know. Consciousness escapes you. Words cannot say. As said before, those who say do not know, those who know do not say. In this blog, I spend countless words saying, hoping someday to know. Knowing cannot be done with words. Words and hope alone are useless. Words do, however, point the way to the room within. Herein lies the still, sweet silence of darkness in which abides the light of knowledge. That light is your true nature.
Live now in the eternal moment from within. Live fully moment by moment without judgment and hope. These serve the me of the body. They do not suit I AM. Look past perceptions, descriptions, and memories. See the whole of the all through twia. Twia offers eyes that see. Twia knows the eternal moment. Live in twia. You will remember the path.
