Contemplative meanderings
You are joy and wisdom. There is no other. Joy and wisdom have no opposite. The me of the body thinks otherwise. It does not know. It sees pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow through the eyes of fear and ignorance. Awaken to your true nature. To be awake is to witness the body without accepting it as you. You are not your body, nor are you its thoughts and emotions. You are that which I AM. You are consciousness expressing as existence.
Awaken! You are asleep thinking the world must change to make your life better. Your problem exists in you. You select your thoughts and feelings. You act on the thoughts and feelings that you select. You make judgments and find hope based on the ignorance and fear that is the me of the body. The me of the body does not know. It seeks pleasure and happiness. It finds pain and sorrow. The world is what you think it is. You give it meaning. It has no meaning of its own. Do not put your identity into the meaning you give to thoughts and emotions. Then you are lost in separation. Leave your thoughts and emotions to be what they are without accepting them as you. You are I AM.
Be witness to your thoughts and emotions. Stand back. Stand aside. Observe. Do not ride these ponies. Let them run free in the field. Beware of feelings. Get in touch with them. Understand that the feeling is in you. It does not lie outside you in a separate world. Nothing outside you must change to change a feeling. You, not the world, must change. Changing your thoughts, changes your world. The world is right when your thoughts are right.
To witness is to be aware. Emotions and thoughts are not you. You are eternal. Emotions and thoughts are transitory. They will change. Change your thoughts from within, then your beliefs will change. As your beliefs change, your world will change. To change the world from within is to be awake. To be awake is to live in the whole of the all. To live in the whole of the all is to leave behind this and that. The world of separation is illusion. It is transitory. This and that come and go. They are not real. You are real. You are wisdom and joy.
Be free to love without fear. This is joy. Rid yourself of this and that. Rid yourself of fear. Drop desire. Hold no expectation. Then you are free. To be free is to do nothing. Do not struggle to change the world to your liking. Let the river flow freely. To alter its course is to suffer. You do not know the way. Twia knows. To be free to love, enter the room within. Be the witness. Observe your thoughts and emotions without riding them to the abyss. To struggle with the world is to alter the river’s flow. Struggle brings pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow. To do nothing is to let the river flow free. Be with the river moment by moment as it flows to the sea. You will know wisdom and joy. Joy is your true nature without effort.
To enter the room within is to see with eyes that see. Seeing through twia changes your world view. You now see the whole of the all instead of separation. The me of the body cannot see. It is blind to the whole of the all. Live from within. Do not act from the me of the body. The body twists and turns in its stew of thoughts and emotions. Do not eat the stew. It is a recipe combining judgment and hope. You chew on desires and expectations. The meal leaves you with pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow. You eat to overcome. You seek fulfillment. You hope. Over and over, you go back for more. Instead, find your way with eyes that see the whole of the all. It nourishes wholly and completely.
To act from the me of the body is to live in the world. To walk its path. To live from within is to do nothing. To do nothing is to walk the way that is I AM. The me of the body acts to get you through life and to avoid death. To do nothing opens you to the eternal. You remember twia. Twia does nothing to awaken you to your reality as consciousness-expressing. You are the way. You are the light that reveals the whole of the all. You are aware.
Do not pursue awareness. It will come upon you in the room within. Do nothing. Sit alone in the still silence. Remember twia. Listen. Let twia guide you on the way of the path in the moment without judgment and hope. Twia knows the way. Remove your desires. Hold no expectations. Do not seek happiness. Do not try to be a good person or do what you think is right. Let twia bring you to the moment. You cannot imitate goodness. The me of the body is steeped in goodness and ritual. It bestows compassion while fearing its own existence. You are beyond existence. You need not fear. To fear is to live in separation with judgment and hope. You live in ignorance of twia. In twia, you live in the whole of the all. You see all as consciousness-expressing. You are that which I AM. You can know this only from being awake in the room within. The me of the body does not know. It is illusion. You are reality.
Do nothing. That is the way of the path. You do not walk alone. Let go. Release. Do not struggle to attain in the world. Drop desire. Hold no expectation. Witness. Observe. Step back. Remember twia. Live from within. Follow the way of the path. Leave the world to itself. You are I AM. There is no other. Be aware of the moment. This is your place in the world.
