Ruminating with Rumi
To whom do you speak when you pray? No one. There is nothing there to grant you wishes. Your voice is your own. You are the way. Speak to yourself in silence. Give voice to your true nature. Twia knows. Open to its way. Follow twia on the path. It is your own true nature that guides you. Listen. Do not speak. Do not ask. Know.
Twia calls from deep within. Twia is a presence long ignored. Sparks from the glowing ember sometimes pierce the veil. Then you wonder, who am I? There is a doorway. You stand outside blind to its presence. You look here. You look there. But you do not see. You are trapped in form. The way out is to go within. You long to remember twia. The river of life is your own true nature. It flows within. You are the flowing that courses from mountain to sea.
You do not know these things. They come to you as words. Words give meaning where there is none. To know is to leave the words by the side of the path and enter the room within. There are no words within. There is only knowing. To know is to remember twia and to accept joy and wisdom as your own. You are that which I AM. There is no other.
Gaze into the emptiness within. You are the emptiness that is nowhere. You are consciousness. Consciousness is silent and still. It is the abyss you fear as oblivion. You have a choice. To live in ignorance and fear as the me of the body, or to live in wisdom and joy as your own true nature. There is no need for dread in darkness. The darkness within holds the ember of your reality as consciousness. Fan the ember. Remember twia. You are I AM. You are the energy of existence. You are consciousness-expressing. You are the dancing that is the dance.
