Ruminating with Rumi
Revel in your true nature. Remember that you are joy. In joy, you live without thoughts of this and that. Do not try to understand. You do not know. Your eyes do not see the unity of the whole of the all that is joy. Your true vision is with twia. Twia knows the way. In twia, all is done from within. From within you receive the way. You say no to separation and see the whole of the all. This is the way of the path.
To know joy is to love without fear. Love without fear has no attachments. It is not bound by desire and expectation. Love in the world is tainted by fear. Fear drives the me of the body to survive. Fear underlies desire and expectation. Fear is the way of the world. The way of the path is joy. Joy has no desire. It has no expectations. Joy is eternal. The me of the body knows only its own existence, which is a world of fear. Ultimately, it fears its own oblivion in death. It does not know twia. Yet, even in form, you sense your presence beyond the body. You search for it unsuccessfully in the world and heavens. All the while it awaits within. The path of fear feeds you spun sugar. The path of joy provides abundant nourishment. In abundance you love without fear. You do not find fulfillment by trying to straddle two paths. You cannot walk both at once.
