Ruminating with Rumi
Forget the meaning of life. You have no purpose. You are that which I AM. You are the expressing that is existence. You are the dancing that is the dance. You are consciousness existing. Consciousness has no meaning. It has no purpose. It is emptiness that is nowhere.
You are joy expressing the whole of the all, which is consciousness in existence. There is no this and that. No separation. Let objects fade and names disappear. Give up your search for meaning and purpose. They are figments of separation. Leave what you have found at the door as you enter the room within. Herein lies joy, which is your true nature. Joy has no meaning. It has no purpose. It is the expressing that is consciousness in existence. Joy is the whole of the all.
You cannot give meaning and purpose to your life without pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow. You effect desires and hold great expectations. The past is judged. There is hope in the future. These are the ways of the world. They are not you. Give nothing. Receive nothing. Do not name. You have no need for meaning and purpose. Look inward. You are the presence with no name. Give no more thought to names or to this and that. Embrace all. You are the one. There is no other.
