Contemplative meanderings
Love is an empty heart, without shame or guilt. It is through an empty heart that you see with full awareness. An empty heart has no fear. Its love is untainted by the ways of the world. It does not cling and hope. It has no memories of this and that. No attachments to look back on. An empty heart is broken open to encompass the whole of the all. Let each moment be fresh in its appearance. Do not taint it with judgment and hope. To love is to be open in the moment to all with peace of heart.
The me of the body seeks attention, approval, appreciation, and affection. This is a desire to love and be loved. This worldly love is tainted by fear. You fear losing the love you have, or not receiving love at all. To be without love in the world is to suffer from fear. To suffer is to fear not attaining the expectations of your desires. Your desire for love is an expectation of the me of the body to fulfill what it feels is lacking. You are putting your pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow in the hands of others. You live in their shadows. Fear clouds your vision. You cannot see your way through the dust of the world.
Slow down. Step back. Live simply. Keep close to the ground. Tread lightly on the land. Use your senses mindfully. Be aware. Take in the whole of the all. Exist in the freedom of twia. Give up fear for joy. Find joy in the room within. Awaken to the miracle that is your true nature.
To awaken is to be aware. To be aware is to change within. You open to twia. Your true nature knows the way. You do nothing. To be aware is to know within without thought. Do not think about it. Feel it. Sense it. Hold to the nameless realization that is called joy. It burns in the well of your being. It is the bright light of wisdom that shines into darkness. It gives glow to all around you. In that glow you see the whole of the all.
Release your attachments to this and that. Attachments bring you pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow through desire and expectation. Give up your dependency on the ways of the world. You were enculturated into the world. You can find your way out by doing nothing. Silence thought. Observe emotion. Enter the room within. You do not have to go to the desert or to the mountain top. You do not have to go on pilgrimage. Hafiz said that he had great need for a pilgrimage, so he sat still for three days in the silence. You are nowhere if not here in the moment. The world is not your power. Your power is twia within. In twia there is no dependency, no attachments, no pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow. There is love without fear. There is joy. You are joy. Joy has no dependency. There is no desire. No expectation. To live in joy is to love all without fear or desire.
The power in you is twia. Say to yourself, I AM the way, there is no other. Bring the me of the body along the way of the path by living in the world from the inside out. Do not look to the world for fulfillment. The way of the world is death. The way of the path is life everlasting. This is the message of the man called Jesus. He knew the way and declared it for all. To follow Jesus is to live from within.
Awareness is the light within. Awareness is the wisdom that is twia. To have wisdom is to know. Surrender to the wisdom within. To surrender is to be aware. Witness desire. Do not follow it. Follow twia. Live in the moment like the birds in the air who neither toil nor spin. Do nothing. Accept the way of the path as yours to follow. This is to live now in awareness. Live within yourself. The world outside will change.
