The me of the body is attached to its existence and all that it finds fulfilling in its world. When attachments are severed, grief ensues. To long for what is lost brings on anguish. Great longing begets great anguish. Great anguish brings about a broken heart. In that broken heart lies joy. Let joy spill from your broken heart. Joy is your true nature. It has no attachments, loss, or grief. Joy overcomes anguish every time. Follow your pain. It can take you to great places.
Do not cling. What you cherish will be taken from you by the march of time. Life is transitory. It holds on to nothing. You cannot stockpile enough in the world to find complete fulfillment. There is always more. The world feeds you spun sugar when you need nourishment. Nourish yourself within. From within you find the flow of the river. To enter the flow is to keep moving without attachment to the ground underneath. Your course is to the sea, but first you must return to the valley. It is the valley that nourishes you on your journey. Do not linger along the banks. Ease yourself into the bay. Feel the tide pulling at you. The sea is eager for your return. It is in the flowing that you are healed of the world.
