Ruminating with Rumi, in one lump sum
To see is to not say. To hear is to be mum. To know is to stay silent. Connections between this and that are lost. They appear as one. Vision is the way. To see is to have the vision of twia. To know is to remember twia as your true nature. You are the one. You may travel here and there but in the end you have gone nowhere. There is no this and that or here and there but in the perceptions of mind. The mind plays tricks. You see what is not there. What is there, you do not see. Time brings misery with its judgments and hopes. You move about in pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow. Joy eludes you. Joy lies not in time but within. Look into the eyes of others. See the joy that you are. Each drop of morning dew contains the sea. The glint within is the sun. The eye of your neighbor reflects the whole of the all. The light of all lifts as one into the sky. Be in awe of its magnificence. The light around you is darkness to many. You move from the light to darkness and back again. It is the cycle of existence. What you see in light cannot be said. In darkness you are lost. You run blindly into this and that while twia remains hidden from eyes that do not see. The light awaits your return. You starve under fruit laden trees. You seek abundance in the midst of plenty. You do not see; you do not know the bounty of your true nature. In any given moment, this and that are in unity. You miss the moment judging the past and giving hope to the future. You miss the ocean in the dew drop. You see only a drop of moisture on a twig. The limb, the tree, the fruit of your abundance lie waiting for you to see. Find vision within. Enter the light. Let it absorb the darkness all about you. Judgment and hope fade into the moment. You find companionship in the whole of the all. The darkness of existence dissolves in the light of reality. Be free of time and place. Twia knows the way. You are I AM. There is no other.
