Not knowing
I do not know
The Cloud of Unknowing
I do not know. My not-knowing is the darkness of the room within. To know, I enter the darkness of my unknowing. I welcome its embrace. I accept not-knowing without desire or expectation. I do nothing. I rest in the deep silence of unknowing and open to the still, small voice within. It comes from that which I AM. It is the voice of my true nature. It has no words. It speaks without saying. What it reveals cannot be said. It can only be known in silence.
To know in silence requires ears that hear and eyes that see. Both are found in twia. Remember twia. Twia is your true nature. Twia gives you ears to hear your true voice. Twia gives you vision to catch the glow of wisdom that lights the darkness of unknowing. The glow of wisdom in darkness is the light of joy that is consciousness in existence. To see the light of wisdom in darkness is to know joy. You are the joy that is twia. Your true nature is wisdom and joy expressing in existence as the whole of the all. You are the whole of the all, which is consciousness in existence.
This is what it is like to know. Like sugar in tea, you dissolve into the whole of the all when you come to know your true nature. You are the sugar and the tea. You are the unity of wisdom and joy. You are the whole of the all. There is no separation in your reality. You are consciousness in existence.
This, also, is what it is like to know. You are not the boat. You are not the wave. You are the energy of motion that holds the boat upon the wave. You are the movement of the boat upon the water. You are the rising and falling of the tides. You are the lapping of the river at its bank. You are the energy that is consciousness expressing existence. You are consciousness-expressing, which is I AM. You are that which I AM. There is no other.
Remember, too. Those who know do not say. Those who say, do not know. With these words, I have said much that I do not know. To know, enter the room within when ready.
