Attending to Attar, Day 7
That which you call sacred is a sign of separation. The profane and sacred are the same in consciousness. There is no separation in its reality. Separation occurs only in the illusion of existence. When the sacred and profane soar over the world as one, then will peace come to all. This is a flight you must be willing to make. Such peace does not come to all. Many do not see the way. When you are ready, wisdom will guide you on the path. Are you prepared? Whoever is ready, step forward.
Alas, you fidget. Do not be anxious. Do not trip over your excuses. You have shown impatience to enter the room within. Your false urgency is not the way. It is a hinderance to crossing the threshold. Do not rush. Do not pull back. Stop planning. Your desires and hopes are excuses. Many who seem eager often say, “I must wait until this or that is done.” Then they stay, impatiently getting ready. Their action is inaction. They have nothing but excuses to stay in the world.
