In contemplation
The Thing Itself
There is that which sustains all of creation. That, which is the thing itself, has no being. It does not exist. From it, all of existence arises. Within it, all of existence perishes.
The thing itself is fundamental. Listen to its voice. It hums a constant vibration. Feel its presence within. This energy is the splendor of your reality.
You do not recognize yourself on the road to Damascus. You are blinded by its dust. Even spittle from the mouth of Jesus will not open your eyes. Turn within. Penetrate the darkness with vision. You are the light that you seek.
Darkness is illuminated by your passionate awareness. Without awareness you stumble into the void, alone and confused. Even though you are afraid, do not worship what you cannot find. Do not seek power in thorny brambles. Return to your true nature.
To return, remember the way of the path. It leads to the room-within. Herein lies your passion and purpose. Herein lies your splendor. Herein lies your reality. Do not be limited by the world.
The me of the body seeks gods in places like fiery bushes high on mountain tops. The god you find is contained in the thing itself. Go to your true nature. Your reality lies within. Enter when you are ready. To step through the doorway is to never turn back.
You have no form. You have no heavenly nature. There is no higher existence than you. This is all beyond all your knowing. There are no words that say. Jesus told those who knew to go and tell no one.
Take refuge in the room-within. You are that which I AM. You are the one. There is nothing other than the thing itself.
