The journey within is diverted by the ways of the world. They bring you desire and expectations. You become entangled in their pleasures and pains, happinesses and sorrows. So much so that you cannot let them go. You have given all your power to the me of the body, and it has betrayed you with death. Now you must die to the body to retrieve your true nature, but you lack the will to do so. Your energy is diverted to the body’s survival. How long must this go on? You seek meaning in family, friends, careers, and religion. You have put faith in illusion. You spend a lifetime in pursuit of nothingness. You are captured in its prison for fear of its loss. You are the moth that worships the flame. Rid yourself of the ways of the world. Make way for the light from within. Start now to turn inward. Your true nature awaits. You are the one. There is no other.
