Attending to Attar, Day 28
Turn away from the me of the body. The distance is short. The journey is long, as long as the time that you cling to the self. Die to your worldly ways. Break all attachments. Set yourself free of the bonds that keep you in existence. Lay aside Marley’s chains. Until you do, you cannot see or hear. The mystery remains veiled by your ignorance and fear. To cling to existence is to die, and the oblivion of death is your greatest fear. It drives your desires and ambitions. But to break away from existence is arduous. The world’s bonds are strong, but you cannot journey while bearing the weight of its chains. In time, your heart will cry out. Love without fear will be revealed. You will see the way and know. Do not delay. Enter the room-within now. Choose peace over chaos. Let the thorn in your side be a rose in bloom.
