Do not crave a long life. To love life in fear of dying is to put yourself in jeopardy of not knowing your true nature. Do not give death a home. Live each moment fully as its own. Death cannot enter where there is no fear. Death feeds on fear. You are born into the world to be nourished by your true nature, which has no end. Do not attempt to live by the me of the body alone. You will be caught by thorns and struggle in the brambles along the path. Instead, be in harmony with your true nature. You may feel strong in the world on your own, but death will follow. To impose yourself upon the world creates friction. Friction burns out life. You are left in ashes. You can rise from the ashes by remembering your true nature. Death will seek you, but you cannot die when in harmony with all. Remember, your roots run deep in the ground of goodness. The storms of struggle may toss you to and fro, but you cannot topple. Your anchor is firm.
