Ruminating with Rumi
To sit in the silence of the room within is to hear the flickering flame of the candle. But I do not hear. Instead, words spew forth. I babble on, saying nothing. Nothing can be said in a thousand ways, and I have tried them all. Ultimately, it cannot be said. There are no words to describe the mystery. It has no distinctions. There are no comparisons. There is no other. I look upon you and wither in your radiance. There is no me, only I AM. The mystery of this lies in the silence of the room within. Enter when ready. To see from within is to know that you are that which I AM. Say this without words. Listen to the candle flicker.
The face of the whole of the all smiles at you sweetly. Have faith in its friendship. It offers harmony and grace. Let desire wash away. Remove hope. Let judgment wither. The chains that once held you have fallen away. You remember twia. The way has arrived. The dust of the world has cleared. You have eyes that see the whole of the all. This and that are unified in your vision like yin and yang nestled in their oneness.
To remember the way is to see the face of the eternal. The way rests in the whole of the all. To see this face of eternity is to know consciousness in all of existence. There is no need to worship. There is no divine. There is I AM and no other. You are it. You are the one. Enter the room within. Touch the eternal. Be in harmony with all. There is no divine without separation, and there is no separation. To what are you praying when you fall on your knees but I AM? Instead, find yourself within. Your true nature is beyond existence. Sit in the still darkness. Allow twia to shine upon you. Hold peace of heart always. This is your prayer. The inward journey is the journey of a thousand steps. Each step is the first. Your true nature is your guide. Twia knows the way.
