Attending to Attar, Day 39
There is fear in separation. The fear you have of love lost can be overwhelming. All that you are is love. The fear of that loss is the bane of your existence. You feel that to lose love is to lose all. Then desire overcomes you. Sorrow becomes your companion. You are cast into the dust of the world as you grasp at happiness. You become a slave to your own existence. Wisdom and knowledge escape you, while all that you treasure in the world perishes. The world is imperfect. It has no meaning. You chase after the dust on the road to oblivion. Blow away the dust. Push through its veil. Come face to face with the mystery and the world vanishes. Pure love appears in the darkness. You stand without fear facing joy. Either face joy within or suffer fear in the world. The choice is yours. To suffer is to fear loss. To find joy is to live without fear. Without fear there is no loss in separation. Joy is the eternal. Joy is your abundance within, yet you sell it for a pittance to make gains in the world. You seek a bone in the gutter while ignoring the feast set at the table within. The table is set for all. No one is excluded. It is you who choose not to attend the banquet. Why? Because you feel you have too much at stake in the world.
