Attending to Attar, Day 38
Love blinds you. You lose sight of the way. You are distracted by its flame. Attachments form to keep it burning. Knots tighten to keep you close. You fear separation. In the deep, dark pit of love lost, realize that you lost nothing. At the bottom of the abyss lies joy. Joy is love without fear. Once you know joy, you can love without attachment, and love without attachment is love given in freedom from desire. Without desire, there is no expectation, and without expectation you release your bonds to captivity. The knot that ties you to love loosens. You are free to love without thought of separation. You are free to be your true nature, which is joy.
