Attending to Attar, Day 56
Whose fault is it that you feel stuck in this existence? Only your own. To blame others is only to blame yourself. You never seem to rejoice in your being. The beauty of its mystery lies beyond your vision. Instead, you see the flaws you place on all. Your illusions block the light of perfection. The defects you find are of your own making. The world is as you see it. You are blind to its beauty. Jesus said to first remove the plank from your own eye before removing the speck from your neighbor’s eye. Truly, you and your neighbor are wholly the same, for you are that which I AM. To know this, enter the room-within. Herein lies your true nature. With eyes that see you will encounter all as one—whole, complete, and perfect. That is the beauty of the mystery.
