The Cloud of Unknowing
There is a blank, gray slate set before you. Write on it as prescribed from contemplations on The Cloud of Unknowing, which is a text of medieval mysticism by an unknown 14th-century priest.
I grow from the ground of goodness, reaching for that crown of consciousness in the heavens. In consciousness I ripen and mature, wanting nothing but to know that I AM. Wanting nothing, I live in abundance. I AM the dawning. I AM the light that feeds all. Reach across the threshold. Receive the gift that is yours to give. You cannot be denied.
Release the world. Do not give it consideration. Open yourself to twia. Twia knows the way. Twia is your true nature. The me of the body and its worldly pursuits are transitory. You are eternal. To live from twia benefits all. To live from twia is joy.
To remember twia, enter the room within. Herein lies darkness, the unknown, until you release all to twia. Twia holds the light that shows the way. The way of twia is wisdom and joy. Do nothing. You cannot remove the darkness by your own effort.
The ground of goodness is that deep knowledge of the unknown that lies at the base of your being and holds you firm in reality as you experience existence as the me of the body. In the Kabbalah’s Tree of Life, it is the ground from which your awareness in form returns you to consciousness, and you awaken in the reality of your true nature, which is I AM. Your joy in life is to grow in knowledge from within and awaken to the reality of I AM. To live in I AM is to live in wisdom and joy without ignorance and fear. This is the way of the path.
