In contemplation
Who am I?
This is one of the great existential questions. Mystics and philosophers have struggled with it for centuries. Let us contemplate some of their teachings.
Day 15
Practice joy. The love you give freely is there for you to receive. To know joy in all is to be at home with who you are.
Call upon joy always. It knows what you cannot fathom. Ask it, what would you have me do? Listen with ears that hear.
In all relationships, express joy from within. Joy has no fear of loss. Joy is love without fear.
The mark of joy is emptiness, or your willingness to accept all as one. Be open to the whole of the all. To know the whole of the all, turn inward. Release your ignorance to the one who knows. You will feel the transformation. It will come upon you as love without thought of loss. Then you will see all anew. You will have returned to joy’s embrace where all hearts beat as one. This is the unity of the whole of the all. This is who you are.
