Attending to Attar, Day 69
Who you are in the world is meaningless. You are what you think you are. You create your own meaning. That is the power you have in this existence. With that power you can change your thoughts about who you are. The thoughts you have about yourself create your beliefs. Changing your thoughts changes your beliefs and these changes reorient you in the world. Your meaning in life is what you choose it to be. Nothing about your life must be the way it seems to be. Your life is a world of transition. What does not change in life? Change is the nature of existence. Detach yourself from existence. Relieve yourself of the world. As hard as you try, you cannot see the road ahead. You falter and stumble. The dust you raise in the rush to survive blinds you on the path. Stop a moment. Let the dust settle. Then walk lightly on the land. Existence is difficult on your own. It is hard to alter your course in life, but eventually you will hear the word, “enter.” Until you know to enter the room-within, you often ask, “What’s the use?”.
