In contemplation
Who am I?
This is one of the great existential questions. Mystics and philosophers have struggled with it for centuries. Let us contemplate some of their teachings.
Day 12
Consider this:
It is from hands that grasp that you give your all. Like grasping and releasing, life and death are essential to each other. One creates the other. Neither can exist alone. You cannot have life without losing it. You cannot lose life without having it.
Consider this:
To speak of the path is to acknowledge its origin and destination.
For the me of the body, the path begins at birth and ends at death. This is the way of the world, an uneven road bordered by brambles. You often stumble and fall, pierced by thorns.
The path revealed by your true nature is eternal. It is not a journey of time and space. Its origin lies in consciousness. Its destination is the same. It is a journey of remembering your reality as I AM. This path is straight and narrow. You slip through the brambles without scathing.
To rely solely on the me of the body is to be lost and bloodied. Instead, follow the light of your true nature from within. It will show you the way safely while offering you peace of heart always.
