Ruminating with Rumi
The voice that hails you from the grave is your own. No one bids you come but yourself. You have never separated from your true nature. There is only I AM. In all the ways that you have walked in the world, twia has always been present. You are only separated in your perceptions of this and that. The me of the body perceives itself as a form separated from others, when in truth there is no other. That which I AM comes from within to be revealed in form, but the body is not you. You are not your body. You are not separated by form except in mind as perception. There is more to experiencing existence than satisfying the needs and desires of the body. Care for it lovingly from within the whole of the all. Feel the presence of consciousness in all as one. You are in union as one with all. There is no separation in reality, so do not fear putting the body in its grave. It is not you. It is not you who depend upon the body. The body depends on you. You are its breath. Pay attention to the breath. It is your life within form. That breath of life that is you fills the form, but only you know this. The me of the body does not. It is ignorant of your true nature. It is but a state of separation in mind, an illusion in consciousness of what cannot be real. Empty yourself of this and that. Sit in the still silence. Feel the breath flowing. That eternal flowing is you.
