Ruminating with Rumi
The noise in your head is deafening. How can you hear at all? Bring it down a notch or two, or more. Quiet your mind. Give it a rest from its turmoil. Find a quiet place within. Enter the silence. Be at home with your true nature. Let peace fall upon you. You cannot know reality from the outside. You enter it from within. You must enter the embrace of the eternal to know your true nature. You cannot know when you cannot hear. What you hear outwardly is the din of ignorance. Wisdom lies inwardly. To sit in the still silence of the room within is to listen with ears that hear. Those ears hear the emptiness that is nowhere. Even then you are limited by the form you have taken. Let the embrace of emptiness hold you in its grace until you awaken from the dream of separation. Then you will know reality over illusion.
