Today in contemplation
The world deceives you. It is false. It has no meaning. You bring ignorance and fear to the table. You feed on illusion. You live with pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow. Suffering dogs you daily. What purpose do you give to it all? What does it amount to at the end? For now, it is your life. What are you doing with it? You seek angels and demons to give you a lift, hoping they know the way. Your thread of hope grows thin. Life ends when death’s wine awaits you at the table. You reach for it, and it drains away. You are left alone, without life. You are rotting in the soil. This is the way of the world. Do not let it deprive you of knowing your true nature.
