Today in contemplation
Jesus said to seek the kingdom within. He broke the laws of the Sabbath to show the way. Worship if you must, but what good are rites and rituals if you do not know your own truth? You may journey a thousand miles on pilgrimage and still miss the door that leads within. Hafiz said he felt a great need for a pilgrimage, so he sat in the silence for three days. The greatest of all conquests is realizing that you are that which I AM. This truth lies deep in darkness. Until you know this, you will be on pilgrimage forever.
