Today in contemplation
The flame in you may seem far and distant. Look deep into your heart. What do you see? An ember glowing brightly. Let it be. It is enough that you know its presence. The world may laugh and cry but bear it no mind. It is ignorant and foolish. It does not know the way, though the path is open to all. No one who seeks is denied. Your many thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors all lead to love. Love is inevitable. Love is the truth you seek. Alone, the path can be long and winding. You might trip and fall into the brambles. When bloodied and bruised, keep your eye on the ember within. Be like a moth drawn to the light. Burn your worldly ways on the altar of love. The path within is narrow and straight. Keep to the light. It will guide you back home. Wake up. Be aware. Do nothing. Let the world laugh and cry. You are the light within. You are the love you seek. You are the one. There is no other.
