Contemplative meanderings
The beginning of a new year is a time for renewal, a perfect moment to remember that life has no meaning. As Joseph Campbell once said to Bill Moyers in an interview, life is just protoplasm. He implied that the meaning you find in life is the meaning that you give to it. You are the author of your own book, chapter by chapter. Ask yourself, do you like what you are reading. You are the writer. Choose your thoughts wisely. From your thoughts the pages of your existence flow. Give pause in the moment to consider the meaning that you are giving to your life.
To be in the moment is to act from the room within. This is to remember twia always. Twia is your true nature. To be in the moment is to act from your true nature. There is no separation in the room within. To act from your true nature is to see the whole of the all. This is to know consciousness in existence. You may exist in a world of pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow, but you can live from within and know peace of heart always, in all situations. To live from twia in the whole of the all is to lose distinctions between this and that.
There is no separation. No sacred. No divine. Do not set them apart. Do not judge. Do not hope. Hold to unity. There is nothing separate from you to be greater or lesser than you. There is nothing purer or more holy. There is the whole of the all. You are the whole of the all. You are consciousness in existence. To enter the room within is to know this. Step into the moment. Be aware of your true nature. You are I AM. There is no other.
To enter the room within is to transcend the me of the body. The me of the body is locked in existence by form and perception. It perceives itself as a body that is real. It cannot see beyond itself to the whole of the all. From birth it begins the path to death. The me of the body is transitory. It is not reality. To know your real nature, enter the room within. Sit in the still silence. Let awareness expand into the eternal. Remember twia. Twia knows the way beyond the me of the body.
The room within does not exist. It is eternal. To be in the moment is to touch the eternal. The room within holds no past or future. Nor does it have a present moment. The room within is eternal. To enter the room within is to remember twia.
To be in the moment is to be aware. To be aware is to witness. From the room within, observe your thoughts and emotions. Do not attach to them. Leave them be like ponies in a field unridden. They are not you. You are that which I AM. Whole. Complete. Perfect. Eternal.
Look into the moment to find your way. Find your path in twia. See with vision. Act from knowledge. Be aware as witness to your existence. You know existence as the universe. You experience existence as the me of the body. Your experience includes sensations, thoughts, emotions, and actions that cause you to perceive separation in the world. You are not the me of the body. You are not a sentient object in spacetime. You are eternal, without form or distinctions. To touch upon your true nature, enter the room within. Herein lies twia. There is no time in twia. You are without past, present, and future. To be in the moment is to remember twia. To remember twia is to act in the moment with peace of heart always. You are the energy of existence. You are the dancing that is the dance.
There is no time in the moment. Time is existence. The moment is eternal. To seek is to live in existence. To know is to be in the moment. Hafiz felt need of a great pilgrimage, so he sat in still silence for three days. In stillness lies the moment. It is timeless without past or future. Do not judge. Do not hope. Enter the room within. Sit in the still silence and know.
The room within is you. It is your true nature. To enter the room within is to remember that which I AM. Jesus called it the Kingdom of God. He said do not look here or there, for it is found within. His words are a reminder that to look here and there is to live in separation. The room within is the whole of the all. It is the table to which Jesus invited all. There is no real separation in consciousness between this and that, us and them, you and me. There is consciousness in existence, or the whole of the all. This is I AM. You are I AM. You are consciousness-expressing. You are the whole of the all. There is no other.
As consciousness-expressing you are aware. You are discrete awareness. To be aware in form is to perceive. You perceive separation. You experience objects as being apart from you, thoughts and emotions as distinct entities, and other forms as different than you. Existence appears as separated forms and thoughts. Everything appears in existence as separation. The me of the body experiences form, thought, emotion, action. Perception of separation is illusion in consciousness. To be aware in twia is to witness the illusion, to know that perceptions by the me of the body are false.
To gaze upon the world is to perceive. To perceive is to give meaning. You perceive the me of the body and give it meaning. You perceive objects in spacetime and give them meaning. Otherwise, there is no meaning. To give meaning is to separate. This is the nature of existence, to bring structure to illusion. A child creates fantasy around thoughts of unicorns. You create structure around thoughts of separation. The structure lies in the duality of this and that.
Existence is perception of separation where there is none. This occurs in consciousness as illusion. Reality has no separation. You cannot know this as the me of the body. You become aware of reality in the room within. To remember twia is to know. To know is to witness existence, to remember that you are awareness. You are I AM. You are the expressing that is existence. You are the dancing that is the dance.
