Meaning is your choice
Your life is transitory. Every day you are withering away. In the end you die. So, what is the use in living? Where is there meaning in life?
You make the life you live. You give meaning to your life each and every moment. The meaning that comes from any situation is given by you. You make meaning in the moment. You are not destined to be one way or another. You choose every single moment to make your life what it is.
You have choice because you are aware. You are aware of your own consciousness. Consciousness is an eternal field of infinite possibilities. You are discrete awareness in consciousness, like a molecule of water. Awareness gives you choice in the meaning you give to moments in your life. You must be aware in the moment to give it its fullest meaning. You actualize the moment by the meaning you choose. You make the moment what it is by your choices. Nothing is ever done to you. You live life as you make it to be. You choose the possibility and bring it into existence. The choices you make are permanent. They cannot be undone.
It is your nature as the me of the body to give meaning to life. This is how you survive the oblivion of death. You create a world for yourself that has meaning. Pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow, fluctuate with the choices you make and the meanings you give to situations you encounter.
The choices you make can be frustrating when they fail to satisfy. When the meaning you want is not satisfied, change the script. You are the playwright. You are the actor. Step off the stage. Rewrite the story. Re-enter stage right in a new, more positive role.
When life seems pointless, there is a crisis of meaning. Meaning is not absolute. Do not cling to values which no longer serve you. In one way or another, you bring meaning to your life.
There is no meaning for you outside your existence. You are the source of meaning in your life. You can change your beliefs and values by changing your thoughts about them. Changing your thoughts changes your beliefs, which changes your life and the meaning you give to it.
Stay open to possibility. Be aware in the moment. Observe what is happening without judgment or hope. Keep an open mind and use your eyes that see. Lift the veil. Meaning lies hidden in possibilities.
Do not desire. Do not hope. Follow the course within. Do not give life pre-conditions. Follow your natural way. Life has no single meaning for all. It is not pre-determined. You are the creator of your own existence.
The best way of life is your own and the circumstances you experience. You make your own decisions moment by moment with what you have at hand, whether you are aware or not.
If there is an ultimate meaning of life, it is incomprehensible and beyond your reach. The meaning you have comes from you. It tells you who you are in your own mind and to the world. Meaning is found in your activities and relationships, especially in how you conduct yourself. Your life’s meaning lies in your awareness and the attitudes you adopt.
The choices you make determine your meaning. There are no conditions put on life’s meaning but your own. You are the keeper at the gate who determines what gets in or out. Take in what you need. Leave the rest outside the door. Give back willingly and abundantly what you can.
Whatever your choices, you have value. You are worthy. You have given the world what no one else can, your own awareness of your true nature. That awareness is there whether you recognize it or not. There is no one else like you. No one can ever take from you the attitudes you hold for life and the meaning that you give to it. The awareness you have for who you are is your treasure. That treasure lies within. There are no outward conditions that give you meaning or value. You are what you make of yourself. Enter the room-within. Follow the path of your true nature. That is your journey. Live it well.
