Today in contemplation

You are the heart of existence. You are the truth within. There is no other than your true nature. What do you hear when listening to its voice? Nothing? A few words? A feeling? Sometimes pearls pour forth in a continuous strand. Words may soar to lift you high or fall to the ground to be trodden upon. Sometimes they float you to the sea. Or they may stick in your teeth as you try to spit them out. An empty heart seems ignorant. It says nothing, hears nothing, does nothing. Just dumb like an ox. Sometimes the heart flies on the wings of wisdom. High above for all to see. It can be arrogant and sassy. Terse and cold. Then it loses its way. Are you alive or dead to your existence? Find your way. Bring the heart to life. Fly high with wisdom. Catch the pearls. Listen that you might hear the calling of the sea. You are the one. You are the truth you seek. There is no other.
