Today in contemplation
“Hello! Is anyone home?” –your voice echoing through the doorway. How is it that you lost your way getting here? By letting the me of the body be your guide. Now you heed the call of your true nature. Still, you stand unsure on the threshold. Let go of the self. Put your worldly treasures aside. All that you hold precious prevents your entry. You appear ready. But you hesitate. Stop calling. The door is open. It is your own home for goodness’ sake. Why do you fear entering? Are you awaiting your own true nature to grant you entry? You do not need permission. Have you forgotten? This is where you live. You were gone but a nanosecond. The door never closed behind you. Remember, the world is not your oyster. It holds nothing of value. Release all attachments. The pearl you seek lies in you. Enter your home without hesitation. Bring only the love that never left you. Talk all you want but the time is now. Death awaits those who hesitate. The eternal embraces those who enter. There is no need to call out. Your true nature awaits.
