Today in contemplation
What to do? What to do? What to do? Life seems to be an endless journey that ends all too soon. Does it pass by unnoticed? To what end do you struggle to make it worthwhile? You are consumed by time. It eats away the days and nights. It does not come back. You earn. You spend. You rejoice. You cry. Your days are in vain. You make the most of them that you can. In the end you leave just like you came. Naked and afraid. Life is a journey of illusion. It is meant to be experienced. Never to hold. If you want to draw a lesson from it, then visit the dead. They all left through the needle’s eye just like they entered. Naked and afraid. Their days came. Their days went. They were spent in vain. None kept the sun in the heavens. Those bones in the earth? Who were the royals? Who were the servants? They all rot the same. There is no sign of wealth or poverty left. Here is the lesson: do nothing. Do not live life. Let life live you. It will make of itself what it needs to be. Live in the moment. Keep peace of heart always. It is the way of the path.
