Give kindness and grace to resentment and hurt or keep resentment and hurt if you wish. You decide. You have the power to choose between the way of the world and the way of the path. Which choice might serve you better? The way of the world withers and dies. You can grow old in bitterness. Joy escapes you. Resentment and hurt are fuel for revenge. To settle the score is to sacrifice joy on the altar of ignorance and fear. It becomes an endless cycle of retribution. So, if you choose to, lean in to your resentments and hurts with a little kindness and grace. You soon will replace ignorance and fear with wisdom and joy. Try it. You might prefer peace over turmoil in your heart.
