Today in contemplation
Existence has no purpose. It is a thought of separation in consciousness, like a unicorn is a thought in mind. The unicorn is a simple thought that cannot be real. It has no purpose. What you make of it is up to you. Likewise, you give meaning to your existence. What you make of your life is up to you. Your choices lead to happiness and sorrow, pleasure and pain. These emotions are ephemeral. They come and go on the wings of whims and desires. Your true nature is joy. Joy is eternal. To find purpose in life brings happiness. Happiness can be found in many things, including greed and revenge. Joy knows none of this. Joy lies beyond the me of the body with its pleasures and pains. It lies within. To know joy is to remember the truth of your reality as consciousness in existence. To act on this truth, you must live from within. When you follow this truth, it will set you free of happiness and sorrow, pleasure and pain. Your true nature lies in the realm of the room-within. Jesus called this realm the kingdom of God. He asked his followers to join him there in spirit. In this realm you are united with the whole of the all. You remember that which I AM. You have no purpose in existence except what you say it is. In reality, you are consciousness in existence. You are the one. There is no other. There is no need for purpose in the realm of consciousness.
