Contemplative meanderings
There are many ancient scriptures that present the teachings of spiritual masters. Their underlying message is to look within. Studying scripture helps to find the way inward. Those who have gone before can help you on the way of the path. You are not alone.
Jesus is one master who is with you through scripture. Jesus said, “Knock and the door will be opened to you.” It is in heart that the door to the room within opens to those who remember twia. It is never locked. He also said, “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.” The treasure hidden in the field is your own true nature. The field is the room within. To own the field is to enter the room within. To buy the field, drop your attachments to worldly possessions. This releases you from perceptions of separation. You will remember the whole of the all.
Do not seek. You do not know the way. Remember twia. Twia knows. Witness your actions. Be aware. To seek this or that is not the way. You are whole, complete, perfect. You cannot be increased or diminished. To seek fulfillment is the way of the world. The me of the body creates hopes and desires. It holds expectations, then suffers in pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow. Be aware of your place in time. Hold to the moment without judgment. The moment is complete in the whole of the all. To live in the moment is to follow twia without seeking.
Twia knows the way. The way is in the moment. Do not wander off. Be aware of thoughts, emotions, actions, and the place you occupy. Give all your attention. Be witness to the me of the body and its environment. Observe without accepting as real. You are experiencing separation as a thought in consciousness. All that you experience in mind and body is transitory. You are eternal. You are I AM. There is no other. The me of the body does not know. Twia knows. In twia, all is accomplished.
What are you doing? You do not know. The me of the body is befuddled. To be befuddled is to be lost in confusion. Stop! Get off the beaten path. Rest in twia without urge to go further into the wilderness. Let truth arise in you where you sit. Enter the room within. Sit in the still silence. Let twia be your witness. Twia knows the way out of your bewilderment.
Do nothing. Sit in the still silence of the room within. Be aware of thoughts and emotions. Be their witness. Do not judge them. Do not hope for something different. You do not know the way. Twia knows. Let go. Let twia guide you. Listen with ears that hear.
To react to the world is to live in pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow. The me of the body reacts with desire and expectation. Your reactions bind you to this and that. Attachments form. The links in Marley’s chain grow one by one to weigh you down with worldly ways. As heavy as the chain may feel, it is but illusion. Do not linger under its burden. Hold peace of heart in all situations. Rest in the moment.
The moment has no meaning, no end unto itself. It is what you make of it. Do not squander now for later. Do not drag yesterday into today. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow will care for itself. Live now, today, in the moment that is yours. To live in the moment, do nothing. Be the witness. Observe. Let twia guide you. Listen from the room within. Bring joy and wisdom into your life through twia.
To be in the moment is to gather yourself into the stillness of the silence within. Herein you touch the eternal. Herein there is no time or place. There is that which I AM. There is no other. You are I AM. You are consciousness in existence. From within, all is accomplished without effort. Do not struggle. Do not hope for a new tomorrow. All is born in the moment.
Words cannot say these things. Words are signposts along the way. Read them with eyes that see. Listen to them with ears that hear. Do not parse what you do not understand. Accept what is in your heart. In heart lies all knowledge. Knowledge leads to loving-kindness. In loving-kindness, hold peace of heart always. To know in heart brings compassion for all.
