Ruminating with Rumi
I am that which I AM. There is only I AM. There is no other. You are the whole of the all. You are loving-kindness. You are the disease and cure. There is no separation. You are the rhythm of life, the harmony of existence, and the good-bad-and-ugly. You are consciousness in existence. You are the energy that is consciousness-expressing. You are the pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow of life. You are the grace found in the whole of the all.
Can you live in the world without attachment to the me of the body? Only if you live from deep within. You might get the best of yourself in the world and survive, but in the end the me of the body dies. Spare yourself from death. Let twia stir within you. You are that which I AM. Let passion and desire remain in the world. Follow twia. Do not go along with pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow. Your worldly expectations, thoughts, and emotions blow about like dust in the wind. Let them settle. Find your true nature within. Touch the eternal. Know that you are that which I AM. Break open your heart to receive wisdom and joy. They will free you from the ways of the world. Without attachment, you will experience peace of heart in all situations.
