In contemplation
Who am I?
This is one of the great existential questions. Mystics and philosophers have struggled with it for centuries. Let us contemplate some of their teachings.
Day 52
You do not know. No one knows. The mystery lies outside of existence, beyond the boundaries of comprehension.
No one knows the way precisely and unerringly. The wisdom of the masters offers guidance. You decide the path.
Do not surrender to those who do not know. They are lost like you. Many scriptures, temples, and gods have come and gone. Many will follow.
Follow your own tradition. Keep to the path that comforts you. There is neither sacred nor common. Divine and profane are poles of belief in your world of separation. Their meanings change with time.
Orthodoxy and heresy speak of dissent where none exists. Those who find a different way add color to the tapestry of tradition
